Fitzcarraldo: Any Opera Lovers in the House?

Fitzcarraldo- a film by Werner Herzog, who like Tarkovsky, creates insanely original, beautiful works. Herzog is at his best when capturing nature and wrapping it around a plot and this film is no exception. The great Klaus Kinski plays, Fitzgerald, a man determined to bring opera to the jungle of Peru and a very large boat is the way he envisions delivering it. There are moments in this film that are way, WAY outside the box. Think big when you watch this one. BTW: Its on “watch instantly” on Netflix.
